Ayrshire leads investment in

Scottish research

Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire is leading the field in terms of public investment in research and development.

SE Ayrshire has approved more funding for projects in the region under the R and D Plus programme than any other local enterprise company area in Scotland. It’s estimated the public body’s £2.2 million investment will see returns of more than £14 million from the private sector on R and D activity, over the next two years.
