appoint new general manager

BUILDING contractors William Skinner & Son of Ayrshire in Scotland and Cambridgeshire in England announce the appointment of Steven Barclay (pictured below) as General Manager.

This newly created post job is designed to help the company achieve the growth it is looking for in the medium term.

Steven (39) lives in Irvine, Ayrshire with his wife and young son.

William Skinner & Son managing director Sandy Cunningham said: “We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of applicants for this post, and after extensive interviewing Steven beat off the competition and emerged as our preferred candidate for this key new role.

“He comes to us with first-class credentials and excellent experience of managing projects of all types and sizes all over the UK. He also spent a period of 2 years as a project manager in Ontario, Canada.

“This is an excellent opportunity for Steven to make the move into senior management and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
