Irvine Bay Regeneration Company
announces Annual Public Meeting

By: Kirsty Innes

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company today announced that its Annual Public Meeting is to be held next month.

The event takes place in the Gailes Hotel, Marine Drive, Irvine at 10.30am on Thursday 19 March. The meeting will be chaired by Baroness Margaret Ford, Chair of the Board.

The meeting follows the success of last year’s event (pictured above and below), which was attended by more than 300 people.

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company is focused upon creating physical and economic improvements to the towns of Irvine, Kilwinning, Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston that will create new job opportunities, improve the quality of life and provide opportunities for future economic growth.

Irvine Bay Regeneration Company chief executive Patrick Wiggins (pictured above) said: “As the regeneration of Irvine Bay continues to gather momentum, the meeting represents an opportunity for the local community to come along and hear about the exciting plans for the area. With significant projects already underway and important groundwork in place, Irvine Bay is well placed to deliver projects that will bring investment and strong economic growth to the five towns through the partnership between Irvine Bay, North Ayrshire Council, Scottish Enterprise and Government.”
