NHS Ayrshire & Arran appoint Mark Adderley as new HR director
NHS Ayrshire & Arran has appointed Mark Adderley (pictured below) as the new director for people and organisational development.
Cambridge-educated, Mark has worked in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors. Mark is a former chief executive of the National Trust for Scotland, where he modernised and improved services.
As human resources and business services director for Scottish Water, Mark was part of the executive team tasked with merging the three water authorities into one. Mark looked after human resources, organisational development, health and safety and the transformation and integration programme.
Mark is married and has four daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities and travel.
Mark commented: “I am delighted to join NHS Ayrshire & Arran and look forward to working with my new colleagues. I realise that my new role will be both demanding and fulfilling, and I am enthusiastic about the challenges that may lie ahead.”
NHS Ayrshire & Arran chief executive Dr Wai-yin Hatton said: “Mark is an outstanding candidate and brings with him a wealth of experience in many different industries. I look forward to working with Mark for years to come.”
